EarthView.EXE - A compiled Wilson WindowWare script (see EarthView.wil 7-10-1998) This version is for NT4 SP3 - might work on 95(?)

Retrieves and parses a HTML file, then retrieves a JPG file from www.fourmilab.ch via HTTP/CGI The JPG is the current rendered view of the Earth from space centered on 'Lat' and 'Lon' at a distance of 'Alt' km.

Doesn't support going through a firewall (yet)

Unzip into your favorite folder. (x:\Program Files\EarthView)

Edit the .INI file to match your preferences.

Run EarthView.exe...

I have it scheduled to run every 30 miuntes.

I use the WWPlus32 WallPaper manager, and have it switching between EarthViewA.jpg and EarthViewB.jpg I set WWPlus32 to update my wallpaper every 30 minutes. Looks best with a Black screen background.
