Attaching to Multiple Netware 3 and 4 Servers

Is it permitted to n4Login to multiple NDS trees simultaneously?

I am working on a script to login to one central Netware 4 server (then attach and map) and then cycle through loging in (and attaching and mapping) to many other version 3 and 4 servers while maintaining my central server connection (and map).

I wish to move files back/forth between many servers and one central server.

I have been unable to get a simultaneous n4login to work to two version 4 NDS trees. I did get this to work between a v4 NDS tree and a v3 server. Any help really appreciated.

Yes, you should be able to login to different trees. Use canonical versions of userid names.

The n4NameConvert function may be used to convert the name into its various context forms.

Use the full userid. An initial . tells you it might be an abbreviation for the real user id, in the following: .userid.suborg.org
