Serial Extender and PPP sessions

Question:

With DUN/RAS you can have a terminal window pop-up after connecting. I spent a day trying to SENDKEY to send keys to this window and NOTHING (winactivate, skto, ect..) worked. I was wondering, could I use the serial extender to send keystrokes to my PPP session ?

Answer:

The Serial extender will not support the PPP protocol required. It's more for the old-style terminal programs/BBS kind of stuff.

Try downloading the control manager extender and run the window analysis script when the terminal window is being displayed.

Try using the WinSock Internet Extender functions:

DunConnect, DunConnectEx, DunDisconnect, DunItemize
